Keyword Grid
The Keyword Grid will appear for keyword campaigns and includes the following information:
Status: whether the keyword is active, paused, pending or inactive due to bid for editorial reasons.
- Destination URL: this field allows you to enter a destination field for a particular keyword. Destination URLs associated with keywords override URLs associated with ads. You can use this feature if you have a unique landing page that you want to use for a particular keyword or set of keywords.
Max CPC: the maximum cost-per-click bid for the keyword. You can change the Max CPC for a campaign directly on the grid by entering a new value and moving your cursor away from the field.
Impressions: the total impressions that ads associated with the keyword have received over the selected time period.
Clicks: the total clicks that ads associated with the keyword have received over the selected time period.
CTR: the average click-through-rate for ads associated with the keyword over the selected time period.
Avg. CPC: the average cost per click for ads associated with the keyword over the selected time period.
Cost: the total keyword costs over the selected time period.
Avg. Pos.: the average position in which ads associated with the keyword appear on search results pages over the selected time period. (Not relevant to content networks.)
Conversion Rate: the average percentage of conversions generated per click by this keyword over the selected time period.
Cost/Conversion: the average cost per conversion for the keyword over the selected time period.
Conversion: the total number of conversions for this keyword over the selected time period.
To the right of each keyword in the Grid is a checkbox that allows you to perform bulk actions. Simply click on the keywords you want to modify, then you can either “Pause,” “Unpause” or “Delete” those keywords simply by clicking on the appropriate button at the top of the grid.
You can also change the default bid or destination URL for a number of keywords by clicking on the checkbox for those then clicking on the “Set Bid (Max CPC)” or “Set Destination URL” buttons. A dialog box will pop up asking you to enter a new default bid or destination URL. Enter the new value and click “Save!” to update your keywords. To cancel, click on the “Cancel” button.
When a change is made via an inline or a bulk edit, the change will be queued and synced with the ad network within 10 minutes. While the sync update is pending, a green and white ‘in progress’ icon will appear to the left of the campaign name. Once you refresh the page, the in progress indicator will be removed if the sync was successful or be replaced a yellow error icon, containing any errors or notifications we receive from the networks during the sync. Both the in progress and error icons will pop-up a small window with more information when rolled over with your mouse.
